The UN office will help the Government of Turkmenistan to introduce an electronic data exchange system
Turkmenistan, with the assistance of the UN Permanent Mission, will introduce an interdepartmental system for the exchange of electronic data. The relevant Decree was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held today, the Watan news program of the Turkmen television reported.
As reported, the document was prepared on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the "Electronic Government" system, signed between the "Turkemaragatnashyk" agency and the UN Permanent Mission in Turkmenistan.
The system of interdepartmental electronic interaction is an important stage in the process of digitalization of public services in the country. It contributes to the simplification of the procedure by facilitating the exchange of business documents and data between different platforms and programs.
Commenting on the signed document, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that the modernization of the activities of government bodies, the introduction of the Electronic Government system will contribute to the successful implementation of the country's socio-economic development programs, including the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy.
