President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the participants of the International Dance and Folklore Festival "Avaza - Land of Friendship", held in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza", TDH reports.

"I sincerely congratulate you on the grand opening of the International Dance and Folklore Festival "Avaza - Land of Friendship", held in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza". I am confident that this festival will serve to strengthen the cultural bridges between Turkmenistan and the countries of the world, familiarize with the achievements of friendly nations in the field of dance and folklore art," the head of state said in the message.

The message notes that in the International Year of Peace and Trust, marked by the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of independent Turkmenistan, the country regularly hosts international festivals, concerts and other cultural events. They demonstrate the breadth and versatility of modern diplomacy and make a significant contribution to the triumph of the ideals of peace and unity on the planet, the principles of mutual trust, friendship and brotherhood between peoples.

"The rich cultural heritage and national values ​​of the Turkmen people occupy a worthy place in the treasury of world civilization. We are proud of the art and traditions created by our glorious ancestors over the millennia," the message emphasizes.

The President expressed confidence that the International Dance and Folklore Festival "Avaza - Land of Friendship" will contribute to the study and popularization of the cultural and spiritual values ​​of the peoples of the world, the exchange of experience between cultural and artistic figures, and the strengthening of creative ties.
