Chinese President Xi Jinping invited Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to take part in the next summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The invitation was made during a bilateral meeting of the leaders on the sidelines of the Central Asia-China summit in Astana. In turn, the President of Turkmenistan invited the Chinese leader to visit Turkmenistan at a convenient time.
