Solar panels will be installed at the railway and bus stations in the city of Arkadag, the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers Mammethan Chakyev informed the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

On Saturday, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, during which he visited the Communications Department of the "smart" city. M. Chakyev demonstrated to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the projects of the railway and bus stations of the city of Arkadag. As noted, the railway station of the new city will be built taking into account modern requirements and advanced world experience. At the same time, the management of the entire system of the complex, control of its operation will be carried out on the basis of innovative technologies.

Also, the construction of the buildings of the new bus station of the city of Arkadag, the work on its external and internal finishing will be carried out in accordance with the best practices in the field of architecture. At the same time, due attention will be paid to the unique appearance of the central building of the complex, the features of its decor and the creation of comfortable conditions for passengers.

The report included information about solar panels that will be installed at the railway and bus stations in the city of Arkadag. The solar panels will be installed using a grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This process will be carried out jointly with specialists from the Turkmenaragatnashyk agency. As noted, solar panels will continuously supply the station's control and lighting systems with the necessary electricity.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that national architectural principles should be harmoniously combined with best practices when constructing and finishing buildings. Great importance should be attached to ensuring high quality construction, strength and durability of building materials. An important task is also defined as the improvement of areas adjacent to buildings and strict compliance with environmental standards.

The National Leader emphasized that special importance should be attached to the quality of solar panels installed in buildings, their compliance with modern requirements and high power, emphasizing that scientific achievements and advanced world practice should become the main direction here. In particular, as in all areas, an important task today in the field of transport and communications is to keep up with the times.
